Design Storytelling Visual Identity. I’m Víctor Manuel Pérez Navarro, a Graphic Designer, Visual Designer, UX/UI Designer, and Product Designer with experience in branding, digital interface design, and interactive experience design. My work focuses on creating innovative visual solutions that communicate effectively and bring value to brands and digital products. I was trained at the School of Art and Design of Valencia (EASD Valencia), where I developed skills in visual identity, typography, art direction, and motion design.

Throughout my career, I have worked in design studios and agencies such as Archicercle, Meteorito Estudio, and Darkan Technologies, participating in projects related to visual identity, UX/UI design, branding, and digital products. I’ve also developed projects for a wide variety of clients and brands, always aiming to combine creativity, functionality, and strategic thinking.

Some of the projects I’ve worked on include:
Dailogos 2024, LLYLM, Voidlab, HiBeats, Novaconnect, Darkan Technologies, Camiseta Yo Interneto, VisualAIzers, Typeinmotion, Syster, Muvaet, Centenario VCF, Just Care, DIAZZ TM, ENSX Fuck’em, Shuriken Speedsoft Team, ivi), The HUM, Serenates 18, Camellia, and DJM.

Each project has been an opportunity to explore new ways of visual communication, develop effective design strategies, and improve user experiences across various digital platforms.

I work with advanced tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, InDesign), Sketch, and WordPress, applying UX/UI design methodologies, interactive prototyping, and visual development. I specialize in designing intuitive interfaces and design systems that enhance usability and strengthen brand identity. My focus on digital product design allows me to create solutions that are not only visually appealing but also functional and accessible.

My passion for design goes beyond aesthetics: I believe in the power of strong visual storytelling and in the ability of design to create meaningful experiences and connect with people. I constantly seek innovation in my work by integrating emerging trends and new technologies to boost the impact of every project.

Currently, I’m available for freelance projects, creative collaborations, and design opportunities, both in Valencia and remotely. If you have a project in mind and are looking for a strategic and visually powerful approach, let’s talk and take it to the next level. 🚀

Design & Storytelling: How to Tell a Story Through Visual Identity
Brands that connect emotionally with their audience are the ones that manage to convey a clear and memorable story. Visual design, when used strategically, is one of the most powerful tools to tell that story. It's not just about pretty logos or eye-catching colors — it's about building a coherent visual narrative that reflects the soul of the brand and resonates with its audience.

1. Visual Identity as a Silent Storyteller
Graphic design speaks without words — every visual element communicates a unique message: the logo captures the brand’s essence and personality, colors evoke specific emotions like trust, energy, or sustainability, and typography sets the tone, from the elegance of a serif to the clarity of a sans-serif.
Example: Spotify uses a vibrant color palette and modern typography that reflect its youthful, accessible, and tech-savvy spirit.
2. Building a Coherent Visual Narrative
Telling a strong visual story requires consistency and a clear direction: define your brand’s journey from its origins to its future vision, apply that narrative across all touchpoints — such as your website, social media, or packaging — and use patterns, illustrations, or graphic elements that reinforce and give continuity to the story.
Example: Innocent Drinks has built its visual storytelling through a simple graphic language, pastel colors, and hand-drawn illustrations that convey warmth and British humor.
3. Designing with Purpose: More Than Aesthetics, Meaning
Visual design should have a clear purpose, where every graphic decision supports the story you want to tell. It’s essential to assess whether your visual identity aligns with the brand’s evolution and current message — always prioritizing authenticity over trends and combining function with narrative to achieve a design that is both understandable and emotional.
Example: Aesop, the cosmetics brand, uses a minimalist and elegant visual identity that communicates sophistication, calm, and a respect for natural ingredients.
Conclusion
Design and storytelling are not separate paths — they are inseparable allies. When a visual identity is built on a clear and emotional narrative, it becomes not just more attractive, but also more meaningful and memorable. Telling stories through design isn’t just a creative strategy — it’s the key to building a brand that inspires, connects, and endures.
