Adapt Branding Different Cultures. I’m Víctor Manuel Pérez Navarro, a Graphic Designer, Visual Designer, UX/UI Designer, and Product Designer with experience in branding, digital interface design, and interactive experience design. My work focuses on creating innovative visual solutions that communicate effectively and bring value to brands and digital products. I was trained at the School of Art and Design of Valencia (EASD Valencia), where I developed skills in visual identity, typography, art direction, and motion design.

Throughout my career, I have worked in design studios and agencies such as Archicercle, Meteorito Estudio, and Darkan Technologies, participating in projects related to visual identity, UX/UI design, branding, and digital products. I’ve also developed projects for a wide variety of clients and brands, always aiming to combine creativity, functionality, and strategic thinking.

Some of the projects I’ve worked on include:
Dailogos 2024, LLYLM, Voidlab, HiBeats, Novaconnect, Darkan Technologies, Camiseta Yo Interneto, VisualAIzers, Typeinmotion, Syster, Muvaet, Centenario VCF, Just Care, DIAZZ TM, ENSX Fuck’em, Shuriken Speedsoft Team, ivi), The HUM, Serenates 18, Camellia, and DJM.
Each project has been an opportunity to explore new ways of visual communication, develop effective design strategies, and improve user experiences across various digital platforms.

I work with advanced tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, InDesign), Sketch, and WordPress, applying UX/UI design methodologies, interactive prototyping, and visual development. I specialize in designing intuitive interfaces and design systems that enhance usability and strengthen brand identity. My focus on digital product design allows me to create solutions that are not only visually appealing but also functional and accessible.

My passion for design goes beyond aesthetics: I believe in the power of strong visual storytelling and in the ability of design to create meaningful experiences and connect with people. I constantly seek innovation in my work by integrating emerging trends and new technologies to boost the impact of every project.

Currently, I’m available for freelance projects, creative collaborations, and design opportunities, both in Valencia and remotely. If you have a project in mind and are looking for a strategic and visually powerful approach, let’s talk and take it to the next level. 🚀

How to Adapt a Brand's Branding to Different Cultures and Markets
Global brands face a major challenge: connecting with different audiences without losing their identity. Adapting branding to various cultures and markets doesn’t mean completely changing the essence of a brand, but rather finding the balance between global consistency and local relevance.

1. Research and Understand Each Market
Before expanding into a new market, it’s essential to thoroughly research cultural differences—from the symbolism of colors and images to the perception of certain concepts—analyze local competition to identify successful strategies, and listen to consumers through surveys, focus groups, and market studies that reveal their expectations and shopping preferences.
Example: KFC has adjusted its menu in different countries, offering chicken with rice in China, poutine in Canada, and spicy recipes in India to align with local tastes.
2. Adapt the Message Without Losing Brand Identity
For a brand to be culturally relevant without losing its essence, it is key to adapt tone, slogans, and advertising messages—avoiding literal translations, adjusting the communication style according to local preferences (more formal or informal), and ensuring the visual identity remains recognizable despite changes in messaging.
Example: Pepsi has adapted its advertising across regions, highlighting family values in Asia, while in Western markets it has emphasized fun and entertainment.
3. Personalize the User Experience
Branding must be reflected in the consumer experience, adapting products, services, and store design to each market—through exclusive editions that foster connection, customer service strategies aligned with local preferences, or adjustments in packaging and presentation to respect cultural colors, fonts, and formats.

Example: Nespresso personalizes its boutiques in different countries, adapting the shopping experience and product presentation to align with the coffee culture of each region.
4. Localized Marketing and Advertising Strategies
Global marketing must be flexible to adapt to each market while maintaining consistency—leveraging collaborations with local influencers to boost authenticity, segmenting digital campaigns based on regional trends, and organizing events or activations aligned with the target audience’s holidays and traditions.

Example: LEGO has developed specific campaigns in Japan emphasizing the connection between building blocks and the tradition of origami, achieving greater identification with the Japanese public.
5. Collaborate with Local Teams and Experts
To achieve effective adaptation, it is essential to work with people who know the market firsthand—by hiring local talent in design and marketing, consulting with cultural experts to avoid misinterpretations, or forming partnerships with regional brands to ease brand acceptance.

Example: H&M has worked with local designers in countries like Indonesia and Mexico to launch exclusive collections inspired by the fashion and craftsmanship of each region.
Conclusion
Adapting branding to different cultures and markets is a process that requires research, flexibility, and strategy. Brands that succeed in balancing global consistency with local relevance are better able to connect with their audience and grow their presence in international markets. Through adjustments in messaging, design, products, and marketing strategies, companies can build stronger relationships with consumers around the world.
